I have a request for the hardware experts reading this newsgroup.  I
have read numerous discussions of some HMD devices, such as SEGA
glasses.  However, I do not believe that anyone has posted a summary
list these devices in the last few months (Flame me and repost a copy
if I am wrong).

Perhaps one of the experts could summarize the current state of
technology of HMD devices, and post the summary to this newsgroup.  In
particular, I would like to know what head-mounted display devices are
currently available from commercial sources?  What are the basic
characteristics of each of these display (e.g., luminance, color,
lines of resolution, interface type, direct view or virtual)?  What is
the approximate cost of each device?  Also, if you have actually seen
a demo of the device or have used the device please give your candid
opinion of the device or of the technology in general.
