From: jew5001@venus.tamu.edu (WILLIAMSON, JOHN EDWARD) Subject: TECH: 3D Glasses (for IBM, MAC and VCR) Date: 29 Oct 1992 20:10:53 -0600 Organization: Texas A&M University, Academic Computing Services It appears that a wireless version of the SEGA-like liquid crystal 3D glasses are available from 3D TV Corp, PO Box Q San Rafael CA 94913-4316 (415)-479-3516. They also sell complete, ready to run systems for both the IBM PC and the Macintosh platforms (and even the Amiga). Glasses range from $75-$350. They are primarily in the business of selling 3D movies using the liquid crystal glasses on your VCR. It looks like half the movie titles are low-budget sci-fi or foriegn films and half are public domain travel/NASA films. They also have several titles on VR and cyber-punk. You should be able to use their glasses on both the computer and the TV, but I'm not sure. John W.
