Date: Wed, 27 May 92 10:30:29 EDT Organization: Blue Moon BBS ((614) 868-998[024]) Hi, I am interested in starting a VR firm that will do some of the basic research for VR, and produce several commercial products, such as VPL and Sense8 does currently. Also I am interested in creating some initial VR applications (possibly using competitors tools), one of the major problems that I am finding is Where do you find the right people to do VR research? Most schools are not turning out VR professionals, and getting them from other diciplines is tough, the math and physics types, are generally not sophisticated as programmers, and the programmers are generally light-weight physicists at best? I am interested if anyone else has had these problems and how they have overcome them. Thanks, Brock A. Poling This is from bpoling@bluemoon.rn.com who doesn't have their own obnoxious signature yet
