On a regular basis, to keep up with the rapidly growing and mobile population
of sci.virtual-worlds participants, we update the Roll Call, a collection of
names, addresses, and interests.  This information is kept strictly confiden-
tial as an historical record only; no information is given away without your
permission and absolutely no commercial use is made of this information.  The
archives are kept hidden away from the public eye.

With your permission, I can use this information to connect people with 
common interests, locations, and sometimes even employers!

The questions for the Roll Call are:

	1.  Who are you?

	2.  What is your postal address, your email address,
	    and your phone/fax number(s)?

	3.  What is your occupation?

	4.  What is your work in the area of virtual worlds/VR?

	5.  What are your specific interests in virtual worlds/VR?
	    What would you like to be doing in the field?

	6.  Have you had correspondence with other sci.virtual-
	    worlds participants?  Good results?

	7.  Your comments on the newsgroup, generally, and
	    recommendations.

Over 500 people have answered the Roll Call, about 5% of the active
audience.  This is pretty good, but obviously it can be improved!

Thanks for answering.  I would appreciate it if you would strip the
questions from your replies, so that the final files are more compact.
You can send your reply using the    r    command; it will come to my
cyberoid address.

Also, if you do want others to know of your activities/location, post
a copy of your response to the newsgroup, where it will be posted 
under the category, WHO.  The address is hlab@u.washington.edu
