I've played the VR game in VA and think that these
interviews are pretty close to the mark. The game was
certainly a good "first try" at mass marketing VR, but there
are some problems I noticed that need to be solved for the
second generation units. The two main areas are the visor and
the response speed. The visor needs to fit a little better,
since the outside world "leaks" in from the bottom. Also, the
weight isn't bad, it's just poorly balanced. The CG is
somewhere ahead of your eyes and therefore causes a great deal
of neck strain.

The response speed needs to be increased as well.
There wasn't a long time lag where you would wait for the VR
world to catch up to your movements, rather there was an
annoying blackout while the VR world just skipped to where
you'd stopped your motion. (Incidently, the lenses were dirty.)

I have to agree with most everyone else: it's fun, but
I won't play it more than a few times.
