We are currently conducting a survey on Software Image Generators
(SIG's).

We are searching for pointers to information and documentation for any
implementation of SIG's, or any packages that contain implementations
of SIG's.

We are also creating a checklist to evaluate the implementation of
SIG's.

The main categories in our checklist as of now include Software
Engineering, Database Formats, Characteristics of Runtime Database,
Rendering/Visual System Control, Networking Support, Input/Specialized
Output Support, and General Considerations/Software Support.

We wish to evaluate/learn from as many SIG's as possible.  

We would appreciate any response, especially lists of features that
should be included in our checklist, and documentation on SIG's (and
packages that contain SIG's).  Also we would appreciate information
pertaining to the availability of any SIG's for evaluation.

We would also appreciate pointers to other Bulletin Boards for which
this request would be appropriate.

Please direct any response to dn1l@ist.ucf.edu, as I do not regularly
monitor most of these Bulletin Boards.
