We have decided to make configuration optios with shorting blocks. This opens up all kinds of possibilites. You can now have the system generate the correct voltage for the SEGA glasses, OR, you can provide your own bigger power source. You can have Glen Harrises SEGA circuit, OR, you can have The RTS only version. You can operate the glasses directly off the serial port, OR, you can get at them using software commands like the glove's. You also have the option of hooking pin 20 to pin 5,6,8 on serial port for those finicky computer serial ports. Of course, you lose pin 20 to serial duties, but you can put pin 4 to work doing what pin 20 did. You can change two things I haven't decided on yet, because I put two extra jumpers on the board. Some people keep asking me about MAC and Amiga support. If you can get a standard rs-232 output on your computer, this device will work. Also, I had a few requests for kits. Is this what a significant number of people want? I am looking into it. Also, even if you dont anticipate buying a box, but you are following this, please tell me. I would like to know. Also, if people are getting annoyed by the many postings, TELL ME. No sense me wasting netbandwidth. Check out the PGSA Overview posting.
