I am working on the ontology of the Internet in the philosophy dept
here, and am interested in hearing from other users as to exactly where
they conceive of the interchange of communication on the net as
taking place.

By this I don't mean the physical location of files etc. on the
hardware, but rather the notional location in terms of the "space"
being accessed on the virtual network.
