From: David_Douglas Subject: ASSOC: SORSA, Spatially-Orientated Referencing Systems Association Date: Tue, 7 Jul 1992 09:56:25 EDT Crossposted from INGRAFX listserv. DEAR COLLEAGUES: It has been rather surprising to me, as well as gratifying, to see how quickly the roster has been filling for the SORSA workshops and conference to be held here in Ottawa at the end of July. We have a great program with some thirteen countries represented amongst the speakers. Of course the major government ( GIS user) agencies of the US, UK, and Canada are also well represented. However I have been surprised at the number of queries received asking what SORSA is. So I thought it would be helpful to post this description. Cheers!
