Hi, this is Bob Jacobson, the moderator.  I'm back from the ICAT 92
conference recently held in Tokyo, with a sidetrip to Korea.  I'll
post a full report later this week.  For the moment, suffice it
to say that the big surprise was that there was no big surprise.
In Japan, as in North America, stasis reigns.

On another note, we are having problems with our mailer to non-
Internet particpants.  We have had to shut it down.  Co-mod Mark
De Loura thinks a better solution to restarting the mailer is to
put the names in the LISTSERV so ably maintained by Greg Newby at
UIUC.  (Greg, what do you think?)

Finally, send in those papers for publication online!  We have new
memory to accommodate several papers; we'd like to start soon.
