The system is programmed using C and 'RGE' -> PHIGS+ with lots of clever extra bits. before we try to write our own VR system we were wondering..is there anyone else out there doing VR with PHIGS+. if so what are you doing? do you have any useful code, tips, ideas.. on the subject of code, DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY CODE FOR THE SPACEBALL? we just got ours, opened the box and found nothing but a few useless pieces of paper and a disk with a couple of programs that don't work! if anyone could let me have some code for a PC i'd much appreciate it. (it did occur to me that the no. of responses i got might be due to my UK email address, do people have problems sending email to the UK? if so then reply to the group, i should n't think people will object and it would highlight a problem anyway) simon ---------------------------------------- simon rushton tel. 031-650-3371/3426 "perception and action in vr" project, email skr@uk.ac.edinburgh.castle psychology, edinburgh university s_rushton@uk.ac.lut.hicom ---------------------------------------- "reality is where you perceive what you perceive to be real dreaming is where you perceive what you imagine to be real day-dreaming is where you imagine what you imagine to be real virtual-reality is where you imagine what you perceive to be real !?"
