I have been told the two images are actually taken from TWO DIFFERENT POINTS
of view. Otherwise why use TWO TI32040 cards? They could have used just one
and use the Amiga blitter coprocessor or something else less expensive than
a TI graphic processor to SHIFT the image some pixels across...

Beyond this kind of headache (!!), I found that looking inside a W Ind
helmet is like peering through the most narrow motocycle helmet, and
furthermore is just like looking at two magnified LCD... The field of
view is the smallest around (about 90 vs 108 of VPL EyePhone LX, or
140 of CyberFaceII).  You can always see two perfectly round lens in
front of you, while LEEP and similar lens follow more the human face
shape around the eyes.
