This conference was put together by Rory Stuart on a moment's notice,
so it's a little ragged around the edges. Reports are that the Speech
Tech organizers saw the appeal of what was initially just an add-on to
the Speech Tech conference and then decided to capitalize on the
"hottest thing going." You pays your quarter and takes what you get.

The entrance fee is a not inconsequential $595.00, or $1,390 in
conjunction with the Speech Tech conference (which overlaps one day).
Not a penny goes to the speakers, I'm told.

Yet another conference in an apparently unending stream of same.
Obviously, those in the R&D trade should consider getting into PR,
where all the money is being made.
