I'm new to this group, and I must say the 25-Feb-92 post
of Frequently Asked Questions is an exemplary document of
its kind and a wonderfully helpful orientation to a 
very informative newsgroup. I'm afraid I don't 
do "practical VR", but the moderators and the overall
nature of the discussion have made me feel welcome while
lurking anyway.

I came upon this group as an arts librarian (at Carnegie
Mellon) trying to build up our holdings on VR, to support
a new telecommunications and VR project in our College of
Fine Arts.

For others who are trying to track down information sources
in this area, I thought it might be helpful to pass on some more
detailed info on some periodicals, and I would like to ask
for corrections, comments and additions.
