I have had no problem getting a Publication List from the Media Lab.  They 
have also helped me locate publications and sent me a copy of a couple of MS
thesises in the past.  I think that they have now started charging for postage
and copying, but that is to be expected.  I do find that some of their work is
difficult to get information on, and I agree that they should publish more 
about their projects.  However, I think the "Demo or Die" outlook causes them
to do more demos and less publication.
