From: James ERWIN Harrison Subject: ADMIN: Interesting VR questionaire response Date: Sun, 2 Feb 92 20:16:48 EST ... Comments and Suggestions: ========================= FAQ. It's hard to get people to talk about what they're doing because they would like to make a buck on it or get credit for their work which is more than understandable. However I would like a better access to past published work and current works in progress. I'm willing to share my discoveries and would love to hear about what people are coming up with _right_ now. With my recent research I've come across a lot of publications which lie either within VR or on the side that weren't mentioned in the S.V-R bibliography. When I get done with my research I'll send a copy of my lists in, but it might be interesting to see just the bibliographies of current research. Even if we don't see the final product because we might not know about existing published facts. I have the feeling that there are lots of 'internal reports' published at MIT and other VR labs that we don't have access to either. Is there any way of getting an electronic copy of thesises and reports produced by all of those Ph.D.s at top schools?... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Net: jharriso@ccvm.sunysb.edu | Disclaimer: Sender is a CS/EE jharris@ic.sunysb.edu | undergraduate at Stony Brook U Snail: Box 441, Stony Brook NY 11790-0441 | suffering from sleep deprivation.
