From: reinhart@netcom.com (Rodger Reinhart) Subject: TECH/INFO?: Single-Chip Sensor Interface Circuit Date: Fri, 11 Dec 1992 00:35:30 GMT Organization: Netcom - Online Communication Services (408 241-9760 guest) I am trying to get in contact with persons interested in interfacing sensors for VR systems. My company Atmos Technology in San Jose Ca has developed a single chip sensor interface circuit for silicon and other types of sensors. The chip is self contained and its major features are: EEPROM memory for calibration and on chip trim 12 bit A/D converter ..............Pulsed constant current source for sensor excitation Differential amplifier .............Supply voltage 2.7 to 6 volts ..............Standby current consumption is less than 1 micro-amp ..............Max sample rate 500 Hz ..............Temperature compensation I am fairly new to the internet and feel that this posting my be pushing the non commercial limitations. If I have overstepped please let me know. We are very proud of this circuit and have been using it for some time in consumer and industrial products. I would be interested in discussing possible applications for this chip. Rodger Reinhart reinhart@netcom.com :x
