I played the VR version of Wold3d a couple months ago.  It is run off of
a  NeXT computer system with a HMD and a joystick.   You sit  down in a
chair with a joystick between your legs that you use to move.  The HMD
was not really too impresive and was very blurry and was hard to focus
on at times.   It was still a interesting system none the less.
