Date: Fri, 4 Dec 92 09:23:29 CST After talking with some of the people involved, this is the current situation as I understand it: Jean-Jacques Grimaud (one of the three VPL founders) is indeed still at VPL. They (VPL and its backers) do still hold the patents to the dataglove. It is not clear what they will do with these however. I have heard that continued sales and maintenance are likely, though it will probably take some time for things to settle down. George Zachary and associates are working on a new venture that will likely focus on the software side of things. I would expect there will be a press release about this within several weeks. Walt Fisher has told me that one thing he and other ex-VPL people are pursuing along with software tool development is consulting work. Steve Tanner
