A mini-conference on Virtual Reality and Disabilities will be held
as a part of a larger conference, "Technology and Persons with Disabilities,"
at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott Hotel.  Date of VR conference: March 19,
1992.  Jaron Lanier of VPL, Inc., is keynote speaker.  Larger confererence is
March 18-21, 1992.  The 1991 conference, the Sixth Annual International one,
drew 2000 people from 42 states and 19 foreign countries, 225 speakers and 102
exhibitors-largerst conference of its kind in the world.

Call for Papers will be issued 3rd week in September.  VR and Disabilities
conferences takes place under a grant from the U. S. Department of Education -
Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE), "Lectures
Program"
