Hi,

My name is Wojtek Furmanski, I am part of the new HPC operation at 
Syracuse University - SCCS (Syracuse Center for Computational Science),
led by Geoffrey Fox. We moved here last year from Caltech and we build SCCS
on top of existing parallel computing center at SU - NPAC (Northeast
Parallel Architectures Center). 

Independently, a new VR lab was started here recently by Chris Gentile
from AGE (Abrams/Gentile Entertainment) who is PowerGlove designer and
also SU alumnus.

We are now trying to join VR lab and SCCS resources towards high-end
VR with parallel computing support.

Among new machines, coming this fall to SCCS, there is 8K MasPar and
we want to explore the option of using it as engine for high-end
visualization and VR.

I understand NASA Ames and UNC are using MasPar for these purposes.
Is any of VR MasPar people there or anywhere else reading this and
willing to share experience with us regarding proper VR peripherals,
interface etc.?
