So far as I know, there were no formal proceedings to emerge from the
Japanese Symposium at the time the symposium was concluded -- only a
shuffle of loose papers, some more complete than others.  The confer-
ence organizer was the Nikkei news organization.  On returning to my
office, I will post their phones and addresses.

If others who participated know of plans to publish a formal proceed-
ing, please correct me!
