ADVANCED COCKPIT DISPLAYS AND CONTROLS
August 5-9, 1991
University of California, Los Angeles

With: Lawrence E. Tannas, Jr.	Eugene C. Adam	John M. Flach
Thomas A. Furness,	Jerold H. Gard	Donald L. Parks
Dennis L. Schmickley	Cary R. Spitzer	Edwin A. Ulbrich

emphasizing the pilot-vehicle interface and the importance of
situational awareness. Participants examine systems in all types of
aircraft, including rotary, fixed-wing, military and commercial.

The primary thrust of the course is to present state of the art tools
and concepts as they apply to aircraft on the drawing boards today.
Topics are structured to be tutorial and not programmatic, beginning
at the component level and ending at the system level.
