This is posted from The WELL (415-322-6106, 1200 baud, 7-E-1 for
registration), the vr conference. Thanks to Howard for noting this
event. However, I want to say, personally, that I am quite miffed
about learning of this only three months before the actual deadline
for submissions, which means one had better have a pretty good arti-
cle on hand or write really quickly. Will someone tell the worthies
in charge to next time consider the larger community? Thank you.
