I cannot emphasize Bob Jacobson's point enough...having been someone
who has sought out information about VR on a global scale (with no luck via
the snail mail process), I also ask that those in the "FEW" and "NO" postings
categories, let us all know what is going on...

I have decided to continue my education through PhD research and have
had little luck in finding out what countries (a big global community
remember...?...:)) have programs in what departments that deal with some
area of VR...so far outside of the US, Australia has a program at RMIT...but
that is the only one i have been able to find out about...i would gladly
post all information regarding academic investigation of VR if there is
sufficient need of this information.

From Bob Jacobson's last trip to Japan, i gather that there is
extensive research in VR...however, i have yet to see anything on it
posted on the NET...i for one am very interested in what the japanese are
doing in and with VR (also see the comp.research.japan group postings!)...
as well as the other countries on this big blue marble...!!!

Please email me and I will compile a list to be posted when i have
enough data and information...

			cheers...
