I think I've seen one or two articles on headmounted displays in Scientific Amer
ican. I have
not got them here, but I'll go home and look for some more info.

I remember one reference though, I think the last issue, about Teleoperators. Th
e said that 
the 3D effect could be enhanced if you put the cameras wider apart than normal. 
But of course only
up to a certain point, after that you only got seasick!

I'm back when I have some refs...
