Quadrum: soldier in the town guard.  In the event that the citizen's
militia is raised, they are also the NCOs and officers for that body.

Karadi: a card game, faster than poker and more random, but popular
especially among the lower classes of the city (and hustlers).

Lytreta: is an hallucinogenic drug that comes from the root of the
Lytreta plant.  The lytreta plant grows only in temperate coastal
swamps where it is still fairly uncommon.  Attempts to cultivate
lytreta in other soils/climates/etc have failed.  The root 
resembles a short fat dark brown carrot.  The drug is commonly
used by burning it in an enclosed room.  The root burns slowly
and the smoke it produces will give anyone remaining in the
room for more than a few minutes a medium high.  The root however
is often broken up into smaller pieces which when smoked in a water
pipe or similar mechanism produces very intense hallucinations.
The drug is addictive with degree varying with frequency and
type of use.  Long term affects of Lytreta include increased
agression and a permanently skewed sense of reality.
