MEMORY v.2.0
copyright Gunnar Bach Pedersen 1995
==============================
Memory is freeware. You may use it free, and give it to your friends.
If you are a professionel shareware-vendor you are only entitled to
havee a minor charge for medium and copying, nothing more. The
money, I don't earn on the game, because it is free, should not be
acquired by somebody else.

If you give it away, you MAY NOT omit any file and you MAY NOT
change the program in any way with one exception: You are invited
to translate the textfiles *.LN1, *.LN2 and *.LN3 to your own language.
Read the file TRANSLAT.TXT to know how to do it. If you make a
translation, you must send a copy of your translation to me:

MEMORY for windows has the version number 2.0, because I previously have
written a version for DOS. In fact I did first have write one for the
Sinclair QL.

HOW TO INSTALL MEMORY
=====================
IF you have obtained MEMORY in a zip'ed (compressed) form, then unzip
(expand) it to your harddisk and run the file INSTALL.EXE to install Memory
on your harddisk.

TO RUN MEMORY FROM A CD-ROM
========================
If somebody wants to put Memory on a CD-rom it is possible to run the program
from the CD-rom without installing it on the harddisk, if all the files is in
the same directory on the CD-rom.

IF YOU HAVE ALL MEMORY-FILES IN ONE DIRECTORY AND WANT TO MAKE A COPY ON FLOPPIES
=================================================================================
If you have obtained Memory in a zip'ed format and have unzip'ed it to your hard-
disk you could want to make a copy on floppydisks. To do this you have to run the
program FLOPPY.EXE. This DOS-program will copy all files to four High Density
Disks, so they later can be installed on your or somebody else's computer. To do
that, only run the program INSTALL.EXE on disk 1.

HOW TO REMOVE MEMORY AGAIN!
============================
You don't need to read this, because I'm sure that nobody wants to remove
Memory :-)
But if you want to, anyway, then do this
1. Remove the MEMORY-icons and the programgroup MEMORY from the
programmanager.
2. Delete all files in the directory \MEMORY and its subdirectory DATA.
3. Delete the directories, too.
4. Delete the file MEMORY.INI from your windows-directory.
5. Find the directory RLZRUN20 and delete the files and the directory,
IF YOU DON'T RUN OTHER PROGRAMS WRITTEN IN CA-REALIZER 2.0.
NB! RLZRUN20 is a subdirectory to the WINDOWS-directory.

THE RULES OF MEORY!
===================
MEMORY is played by two players, who by turn turns two cards. One of the
players may be the computer.

If the two cards match, they stay with the front up and the player
winns two points.

When a player gets points he may turn the two next cards.

You should try to remember the cards you have seen. Then you can find
them again later when you find a matching one.

The winner is of course the player who has found most pairs.

You can play with pictures, sounds and texts on the cards or with different
combinations. Using combinations you have to match eg. picture and text
or picture and sound.

Those combinations are choosen in the menu CONFIGURATION. Here you can
configure Memory in other ways too.

                               I hope you will enjoy to play MEMORY!
