			The Author and
			the APL terminal emulator

In the spring of 1987, Mr. Tom Landers, then a fourth year student
at Case Western Reserve University, developed this terminal emulator
as a part of the requirements for his senior project. His work
started with a terminal program done by J. Bammi and P. Mateti, that
later became a part of Gulam.

The terminal characteristics seem to be similar to those of a VT52.

Tom designed an APL font that has only "single strike" characters;
composite characters are formed on the screen by merging images.
You may be able to find a font editor that will work with this font.

The supervisor was Prof. F.T. Way, III of the Department of
Computer Engineering and Science.
