Must be in same folder as .PRG IFFREAD .ME This file Features: --------- Iffloader will load MOST iff or compatable files (LBM) into the 256 colour screen of the TT. This includes H.A.M. files and 256 colour IBM DPaint files (LBM). 16, 32 and 64 colour iff are also supported. (DPaint ST too) The program will function in: * TT low (256) all supported IFF formats * TT med (16) all 16 colour IFFs (256 colour LBMs can be viewed, but no colour quantization is currently supported) HAMs will not work! * ST low (16) all 16 colour IFFs only! * ST med (4) 2 & 4 colour IFFs (if you find any) otherwise do not use! * ST hi (1) Do not use! * TT hi (1) as above! Unfortunetly other matters are pressing for my time so development may have to be put on hold, unless support is evident. Features to be implemented are: * Colour compression for 32 & 64 Colour pictures into the 16 colour modes. Both ST 320x200 and TT 640x480 * Dithered grey scale renditions of: HAM & 256 colour pictures into ST & TT 16 colour modes 16, 32 and 64 colour pictures into ST med, hi and TT HI modes * Scrolling window mode for pictures larger than current screen. * Saveing of HAM & 256 colour LBM pictures, into a format recognised by Calamus SL (SOON I HOPE) * Loading, viewing and saving of: IFF-sham (s.H.A.M.)
