..... MIDITREE INSTRUCTIONS .....

The midi tree program blinks lights on a Christmas tree as 
controled by the music. 110 Christmas songs are included. Music 
plays through a synthesizer or through the ST speaker.

To use the program first set your Atari ST to low resolution. Put 
all the songs and the MIDITREE.PRG file one disk or directory.
Click on MIDITREE.PRG to start the program. After the program 
starts there are a few keys that start and stop it. 

      P       Play - start music playing
      Q       Quit - the program stops and returns to desk top
      R       Read - causes a disk directory to be read.
      S       Speaker - turns on or off the ST internal speaker
      Delete  Delete song - skips the song currently playing
      Escape  stops all music from playing, it also exits the 
              program when no music is playing.
 
Any songs in Standard Midi File format will play providing they 
end with the extender .MID, so you can use others besides those 
provided with the program.

The program can be distributed freely provided this documentation 
file is included.
