Wow, conversions on the brain. Start with a scan of an Atari fuji... FUJI.IMG. Captured in Calamus FontEditor, and traced by hand to become a character in one of my fonts... ASCII 194 of FLASH_LT.CFN. Loaded into Outline Art for conversion to a graphic... FUJI.CVG. Font loaded into Sol Guber's CalCyber to produce a CyberSculpt template... no good, CalCyber doesn't convert ASCII 194, too high. Load font into FontEditor to move fuji into a low slot in a pi font... FUJI.CFN. Load FUJI.CFN into CalCyber to produce... FUJI___?.TMP Load FUJI___?.TMP into CyberSculpt. Wrong file format? Merge file too large? Go back and make a template using Fine instead of Extra fine. Load the new FUJI___?.TMP into CyberSculpt. Success! Wow, look at all those points... extrude... save as... whatyamean it projects outside of CAD 3D space? Scale back a bit. Save as... FUJI.3D2. Whew. Load into CAD 3D. Fiddle with views and zooms a bit save a couple of DEGAS superviews... FUJIFACE.PI3, FUJI.PI3 Load into PicSwitch .7 and save as a greyscale low-res picture... load that and save it as a high-res picture for quick anti-aliasing... FUJIFUZY.PI3. Load it as the desktop background with Quick ST Customizer, and run El_Cal to see how it looks. Nice, let's reverse the colors... wow. How can I get that picture? Load into DTPaint and reverse the colors, save as FUJIDARK.IMG. Move to slideshow directory and run IMGSHOW. Take a snapshot when it comes around. Rename it FUJIDARK.PI3. Now, if could just get it in Illustrator 88 format as FUJI.EPS, FLASH_LT.AFM/PFB would be cool.... Anyone want to take it from here? Enjoy! Michael Hopwood GetSet GraphicsArt M.HOPWOOD 4/24/92
