ReadME.TXT 6-10-1992 The GDOS\FONTGDOS Filename fixer. This Program is designed to help users of The G_MAN V2.0 through 3.XX correct the most common errors in the GDOS font name standard. This program is FreeWare it may be freely distributed, except as part of a commercial software package, without written permission from DragonWare Software Inc. Please include this readme file with the program! If you do NOT own the G_MAN, this program will not help you much; unless you know how to make ASSIGN.SYS files manually. Functions PUBLISHER 2 FONTS. This button enables the program to look for the new GEM/3 style of font names. OLD GDOS FONTS. This button enables the program to look for the older style of GDOS fonts with the output device named in the first two charaters of the older GDOS file name. SELECTOR. These options let the user set the PATH of source directory and the destination directory. The source directory is where the misnamed fonts reside. The destnation directory is where the new renamed fonts will be written. QUIT. Exits the program. INFO. Presents an about dialog. FIX/CONVERT Causes the program to convert or fix the fonts in the read-from directory. It will move the fixed fonts to the writ- to directory. BITMAP to FSM This is a function that in the future will convert older BITMAPPED fonts to the newer GDOSFSM vector fonts.
