I have made an improvement over my previous attempt at making a mask to print envelopes on the SLM605. Instead of rotating the text I now use the architecture mode of Calamus to rotate the page. It is neater, cleaner and easier. The same rules, as before, apply. You must activate the THICK PAPER button on the printer along with putting the paper eject lever in the down position. The envelope is still feed into the single sheet guides, face up with the top of the envelope towards the back of the printer. I set protect on. This way you can edit the text but, cannot move the placement of the text frames. This time I used Time 50 as the font. This font should be one that everybody has. Isn't Calamus a fantastic program?
