MT-32 CONTROLLER INFO The MT-32 Controller is a desk accessory designed to allow you complete control over your Roland MT-32 synthesizer, even from within your favorite (GEM) sequencer. It also is a patch librarian, and allows you to take a "snapshot" of your MT-32 setup and save it to disk! No more time wasted trying to reconfigure the "mix" you spent so much time setting. You'll be able to restore any setup in seconds---even from within your sequencer! You'll also be able to access many otherwise inaccessable features of the MT-32, such as four different reverb types and individual tuning or transposing of parts! At only $49.95, this is one accessory the MT-32 owner won't want to be without! The disk should contain the following files: MT32DEMO.ACC MT32DEMO.RSC DESKTOP.INF READTHIS.TXT (this file)! Both the MT32DEMO.ACC and MT32DEMO.RSC must be in the main directory of your boot disk in order to work! Although DESKTOP.INF is not required, you must be in either High or Medium Resolution for the program to run. The program is activated by clicking on the MT-32 Demo entry of the "Desk" menu. Once opened, a dialog box will fill the screen with the DEMO control panel! Be sure the ST MIDI out port is connected to the MT-32 MIDI IN port! If you have a master MIDI keyboard, connect it to the ST MIDI in: a software thru is supplied by the program to allow you the ability to play the MIDI keyboard and still control the MT-32 from your Atari ST! To change a parameter, simply point to the up or down arrows on either side and click with the left mouse button! Clicking on the parameter value will reset it to the default value. You may change patches by clicking on the patch name! To test a patch, click the right mouse button, or click with the left button on "PLAY NOTE". When using the right button to play a note, you can increase the velocity by clicking further on the right side of the screen, and play a higher note by clicking higher on the screen! The demo disables the following features: 1) Loading and saving of patches and setups. 2) All parts except PART #1. 3) Retrieval and storage of setups.
