This program is what I expect to be the best backup utility available for
the Amiga. Features are :

    - Backup to floppies or to an archive file.

    - Full or partial backup and restore.
      File selection by name, date, and protection bits. You can save
      your favorite selections, and recall them later.

    - Cyclic backup to several drives.

    - Optionnal Data compression
      An internal algorithm is provided, but you can use any external
      program. The XPK library is also supported.

    - Function to rebuild catalog
      Allow to restore files from a damaged archive file, or if some
      disks are missing.

    - Error recovering function.
      If an error occurs while writing to a disk, you won't have to
      restart from the beginning.

    - Under 2.0 system release, High Density disks (1.76 Mb) and links
      (hard and soft) are supported.

    - Full Intuition interface, as well as "batch" mode for CLI lovers
      and automatic backups.

    - Multitask program.
      A child task is created, and performs all write operations to
      floppies. This makes ABackup about 10 to 20% faster.

    - View operation during file selection
      The names of the viewer programs are configurable. The file is
      extracted from the archive if needed.

This program is shareware, so if you use it don't forget the contribution.
