Here are five lharc archives, containing CRC check files for disks 001-400, made directly from my master distribution disks. Lharc is also included for your convenience in extracting the CRC check files. This would be accomplished with a command of the form: lharc x Disks001-099.lzh The CRC check files were made with a batch file full of lines like the following (see the GenScript program for an easy way to generate these): find >find.out AmigaLibDisk100: -type f -print brik >Disk100.crc -Gbf find.out brik -C Disk100.crc The "find" program is from disk 197. Brik is from disk 233. Both are also included on this disk. Note that brik needs lots of stack space. A value of at least 40000 is recommended. Disks 57, 80, and 88 were removed from distribution, so their CRC files do not appear here. Also, several disks were re-released with some material deleted, so the CRC files match the latest available versions. At the time this disk was finalized, the status of Disk 395 was in question, so it may have been removed from the library as well, even though the CRC listing was left in this distribution. To check a particular disk, you would use a command like the last one in the above example. If you are a redistributor of my disks, please check all of your masters and obtain correct disks for any that show a CRC difference. If you are an end user and find a CRC difference, you should request a replacement from your supplier. Please do not knowingly redistribute any disks that do not pass the CRC check. Thanks! -Fred
