A version of Amiga ReadMail for use with the Paragon Bulletin Board System will be made as soon as Jon Radoff (Inner Circle Software) fixes the following things in Paragon; o Paragon should have a binary message upload function that requests the name of the conference, not the number. When replying messages, Amiga ReadMail only has information about the conference name - the number is unknown. o Eight bit characters should work everywhere, they are used by most of Europe!. Since this is not allowed in FidoNet conferences, 'Config' should request the name of the 7-bit character set that should be used for this country. Paragon may then translate 8-bit characters into 7-bit ISO when bundling Fido messages. o Paragon should send a string like 'End of new files listing' so that the script can stop the capture before the menu appears. o The main menu and file menu prompts should contain '(? for menu)' at the end, since those prompts differ from system to system. The reader uses this to recognize when to start sending commands. o 'ParaText' should not crash when sending text at full speed into the editor. The editor has to be used when uploading detailed file descriptions, and Paragon doesn't seem to like the fast ASCII send function in NComm. o Something has to be done with the keyboard buffer. If you are a fast typer, the text actually comes out BACKWARDS. That doesn't look good in messages... T.Lodberg
