TRANSACTION ENTRY WINDOW:

Enter/ Edit transactions in this window.

This window is a mixture. Some items are selected by 
clicking the relevant gadget and selecting an item from a list.

The item is inserted in the box you have clicked. If you change your
mind select and click the box again.

Other items have to be entered. Note that the NUMBER for the transaction
only comes up if 'AUTO NUMBERING' in the TRANSACTION TYPE is ON. PENNYWISE
always remembers the LAST NUMBER YOU ENTERED.

The default date is always today, and you change it by typing over it.

RECONCILIATION stays blank until you enter a date. Placing the cursor
in the RECONCILIATION DATE field and pressing RETURN enters the SYSTEM
date. Or you may enter a date of your choice.

If you make a mistake the reconciliation date can be cancelled  by entering
 a date either earlier than the transaction, or an invalid date! NOTE
YOU WON'T SEE THE EFFECT UNTIL THE RECORD HAS BEEN SAVED OR RE-SAVED.


Transaction can be re-edited at any time.
