Article 10475 of comp.sys.amiga: Path: estinc!mcdphx!asuvax!ncar!gatech!udel!mmdf From: ISCOVE@utoroci.bitnet Newsgroups: comp.sys.amiga Subject: small noclick patch for B2000/?A500 Message-ID: <19791@louie.udel.EDU> Date: 15 Jul 89 15:11:22 GMT Sender: mmdf@udel.EDU Lines: 27 Here is a program (NoClick2) which will silence the grunting of empty disk drives on the B2000. It is essentially a rewrite of the program that Dan Habcock recently posted to PLINK. This version will silence both drives if df1: is also there, and is a little better behaved. Run it from the CLI, or include it in the startup-sequence. It has only been tested on a B2000 running 1.3 V34.2 with two floppy drives. Sould also work on the A500. Commented source is available if requested. If there's enough interest I'll post it properly. Would appreciate feedback, particularly about how it runs on machines with only one floppy drive and on the A500. Norman Iscove iscove@utoroci (bitnet)
