*** CYRILLIC (RUSSIAN) FONT *** This Cyrillic alphabet font was created by ace Russian student Elaine Martin, with Amigoid Timm Martin operating the Font Editor. The IFF picture was created on DeluxePaintII by Timm Martin. This program may be freely distributed, but may not be sold. You can install this font on your WorkBench disk by following these steps: From the CLI, type: copy font sys:fonts/cyrillic.font makedir sys:fonts/cyrillic copy 12 sys:fonts/cyrillic These commands assume that your WorkBench disk still has the "fonts" directory intact. "sys:" is the disk with which you booted. If you want to install this font on another disk, just replace "sys" with the name of the other disk. If you want to install the font on a disk such as DeluxePaint, make sure you are working with an non-copy-protected copy. These may be obtained from Electronic Arts for a fee, or by copying the disk with a protection-busting program such as MarauderII. As a programmer, I definitely do NOT support software piracy, but I do believe each software owner is entitled to one archive copy of each program. If you copy this font to your original copy-protected DeluxePaint disk, you may destroy the copy protection, rendering your disk useless. This font works great with DeluxePaintII (an incredible program) and the WorkBench NotePad, among others. A diagram of the keyboard mapping is supplied. To view the file, use a public domain program such as SeeILBM, or one of the commercial art programs such as (you guessed it) DeluxePaintII. The picture is in medium resolution (640x200) with 16 colors (4 bit-planes). The picture prints very well, too, with DeluxePaintII. Just change the backround color to white, all other colors to black, and use the default print settings. Happy writing!
