I hate to add to the plethora of README files afflicting this release,
but....

Welcome. This is the latest GNU EGREP version 1.5 straight off of MIT-PREP,
with a few modifications here and there to make it live in a decent amount
of stack. The original needed at least 25K of stack to run. This one needs
around 6K or so.

This version is compiled with Lattice "C" version 5.02. I have written a
Lmkfile for "lmk". This one works with "lmk", for some odd reason ("lmk"
has some silly bugs, at least in 5.02).

I'll try to duplicate them in "virgin" GNU code on a BSD system, and see if
they're inherent in the code, or problems with the Amiga port. That way we
won't bother the GNU folks with problems with my own programming.
