Some time ago, I noticed a distinct lack of certain functions in the Manx C libraries. Undaunted, I wrote them. Since then, I have written some other routines, and included other people's routines. Here they are! The function strtod returns a IEEE double. If you would like to use this routine, you must compile your code with the +fi flag to cc to use IEEE floats instead of ffp floats. I would like to thank Daniel J. Barrett and Richard A. O'Keefe for some of these routines.
