GPrint 2.03 ReadMe - January 24, 1989 What is GPrint? GPrint is a stand-alone program that takes as its input a two-colour IFF file or brush of ANY size and prints it with fantastic results on any Epson FX-series or compatible printer. GPrint is as fast or faster than the new EpsonX driver on Workbench 1.3, and produces much better results for black-and-white files. GPrint runs from the CLI. For a sample, try: GPrint GPrintDemo.IFF h s or GPrint GPrintDemo2.IFF h s GPrintDemo.IFF is a sample 960 by 720 pixel IFF file produced in Deluxe Paint II, and GPrintDemo2.IFF is a 640 by 400 pixel IFF file, also produced in Deluxe Paint II. The option letter "h" stands for high density, and the "s" for special smoothing. Try GPrint with options "m s" (medium density with special smoothing) instead, and also with option "u" instead (ultra density). For a command summary, type GPrint ? Since you will like GPrint (ahem), you should then proceed to read the full documentation file (GPrint.doc). This contains a full description of all the modes of GPrint, as well as tips on getting the best possible results from your printer.
