29 March 1987 Hi - Here is DK, a little display hack I have been working on for much longer than my family would like. I still haven't got all the features included that I would like to have, but I'm going to be away from Amy next week and I want to get it posted. Lotsa folks out there who can improve on it. Released to the Public Domain, distribute freely, but not for profit. In the Credit Where Credit Is Due department, the inspiration for this idiocy came from Leo Schwab's inane but wonderful creations -- if you haven't downloaded them yet, search the library for his name and do so immediately. DK is minor league stuff compared to some of his (notably ROBOTROFF). Credit also to TDI Modula-2 version 3.00a, with which this was compiled (it won't compile under earlier versions). A fine system. I'm including the source in the ARC. (ARC.023 used to ARC file). Finally, I suggest you run DK per the instructions below *FIRST*, before you look at the source, as some of the fun is in the surprise. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Make sure there is nothing on your CLI screen you care about 2. After UN-ARCing, simply type `dk ' from the CLI 3. Be patient - it takes a minute to get going 4. Control will be returned to you when DK is done Have fun, Thomas H. Handel PeopleLink -- THH --
