Originally, on the Apple Macintosh, a version of this program (in black and white) created nice interference (moire) patterns with boxes and circles. The color version, with color cycling, resembles more a color "dazzler" than a moire generator. . . With Grabbit now available the save picture routine isn't really needed, but it's nice to have anyway for the filename priviledges. New version changes: Draws continuously on screen until stopped. Incorporates Charlie Heath's palette routine for modifying the color map. Uses a dialog window to get filename for saves instead of the workbench console. Pointer changes to a yield sign during disk activity. Known bugs: Save routine bombs computer if disk is full. Error recovery doesn't seem to work as Mical wrote it. Anyone got any ideas about correcting it? See iffwriter/iffwriter2.c for source to SavePicture() currently used. I modified it to use Lattice's file routines to allow writing over an existing file.
