                  UNZIPPING RECURSIVE REALM
                        Version 2.5
                      Scott A. Jones

All of the files needed to run Recursive Realm are in what
is called "archived" (or "zipchived") format. An archived
file is one that contains one or more other files in comp-
ressed form. Files are placed in this format to save disk
space and/or to keep all of the files together. The following
three files should be included on this disk:

      1.) "RREALM.ZIP" - The Recursive Realm zipchive.
2.) "PKUNZIP.EXE" - The utility to extract the
                          files from "RREALM.ZIP"
      3.) "READ.ME" - This file.

Follow the instructions below to unzip RREALM.ZIP:

****************************************************************

If you have a HARD DISK SYSTEM (or high density drive):

1.) Make sure that you have at least 695k of free disk
space on your hard disk then place the disk
            containing "RREALM.ZIP" into drive A:

2.) Move to the directory on your hard drive in which
you want to install Recursive Realm and type the
            following command:

                       A:PKUNZIP A:RREALM

3.) The files should be successfully extracted onto your
            hard disk.

****************************************************************

If you have a DUAL 360k FLOPPY DISK SYSTEM:

1.) Have three blank, formatted disks available.

2.) Place the Recursive Realm disk into drive A:
and a blank, formatted disk into drive B:

3.) Move to drive A: and type the following command
            EXACTLY as shown here:

               PKUNZIP RREALM *.EXE *.OME B:

Label this disk "Recursive Realm Program Disk"

4.) Remove the disk from drive B: and replace it with
a new blank, formatted disk and type the following
            command EXACTLY as shown here:

                       PKUNZIP RREALM *.RR? *.DAT B:

Label this disk "Recursive Realm Picture Disk"

5.) Remove the disk from drive B: and replace it with
a new blank, formatted disk and type the following
            command EXACTLY as shown here:

PKUNZIP RREALM *.DOC *.NOW *.CAT B:

Label this disk "Recursive Realm Documentation Disk"

6.) Read the documentation on the "Documentation Disk".
Place the "Program Disk" in drive A: and the "Picture
Disk" in drive B: then move to drive A: and type
"RR B:" to start Recursive Realm.

If you received any other files with the extension ".ZIP",
follow the above instructions to unzip them except substitute
the new filename for "RREALM.ZIP". You will probably need about
650k free disk space for each zip file.

You can type "PKUNZIP -V name" where name is the name of the
zip file to get a list of files in the archive.
