INSTRUCTIONS

     Each program on this disk is stored together with its instructions and 
accessory files (if any) in a compressed archive format known as PKZIP.  The 
file name indicates the program and version; the file type is "ZIP".  Thus, 
"VDE161.ZIP" is the VDE Editor, version 1.61, in a PKZIP archive file.
     This is the format preferred by most dial-up information services and 
many disk libraries.  You may feel free to circulate these programs, but 
please distribute the original complete ZIP files only.
     To extract the individual files from an archive, use the freeware 
UNZIP.EXE utility included (or PKUNZIP, if you have that).  For example, to 
unpack the VDE editor from VDE161.ZIP, if this disk is in your A: drive, move 
to an area (like a subdirectory of your hard disk) with sufficient free space, 
then give the command:

              C:\TEMP>a:unzip a:vde161

     Note that there may not be enough space ON THIS DISK to do this!  The 
extracted contents of a ZIP file can take up to twice the space that the ZIP 
file occupies.
