Note to Windows PIF users:
If you set Econ up in Windows using the PIF editor, be sure use full
screen, not windowed. Set it up using File, New, New Program Object
from the Windows menu and this will not be a problem.

About the program:

Econ forecasts S&P 500, T bond and T bill interest rates, zero coupon
bonds, gold prices, and inflation using econometric models derived by
multiple linear regression.

Once a month you enter 9 numbers and get statistically optimized
forecasts for 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months in the future.
The program has a full help facility by simply pressing the F1 key.

There is also an asset allocation routine which tells you how much of
each asset to hold with conservative and aggressive strategies. It's
a menu driven, mouse active program which runs on IBM-PC and compatibles,
640K memory and a hard drive is needed and a VGA monitor is recommended.
