Visual Basic Toolbox Pro

To keep download time to a minimum this shareware version
is a scaled down or Lite version of ToolBox Pro.
This program is intended for evaluation purposes ONLY!
You may use this program for 30 days to give it a
thorough run through before purchasing the registered
version. I'm sure you'll find ToolBox Pro an indispensable
addition to your VB Programming environment.

You may now register this program via SWREG.
SWREG Registration ID: 1715

Installation:

Run setup.exe from the file manager to install
ToolBox Pro. This program is compatible with
VB 2.0 and VB 3.0. If you have VB 2.0 you will
need a copy of VBRUN300.DLL in your
Windows\System to run this program.

Some people have reported problems with the VB
installation program on their systems. The problem
can usually be tracked down to a screen saver or other
PopUp program causing a conflict. If you experience
problems with installation, try running the file
vbsetup.exe instead of the bootstrap program. I've found
that often this will solve the conflict with the bootstrap
file "setup.exe" without having to turn off those
screen savers or PopUp programs we so dearly love.

If your using a third party shell such as
Norton desktop, or PC Tools for windows,
After the installation is complete you may
get a DDE error message. Everything is installed
properly, choose close. Sometimes these third
party shells don't process the windows Close DDE
connection properly.

A word about VBx file versions.
In this program or any other VB program
if you get a "Wrong VBx Version error"
when you start the program, the first step
you should perform is a search through all
directories in your path for copies of that VBx.

VB programs are designed to work with VBx versions
later than the one used to compile the program, but sometimes
choke on earlier versions. If you have an older copy of a
VBx somewhere on your path it may be found and loaded
first causing the conflict and the error message.

Always use the newest version of any VBx and
delete any old copies, or move them to a directory
that is not in your path if you wish to save them.

Enjoy and thanks again

Hal
